Friday the 13th
Last Friday night was something different from my usual Friday. I got the chance to attend Wacom’s Intuos 5 tablet launching held at Marriot Hotel Cebu with these good friends, Khenn, Kevin and Rafael. It was a good opportunity for me to have attended the said event with other photographers and graphic designers or “designers” in general. What amazed us the most was this Inkling; you can just simply write or sketch anything on ANY kind of paper and it all captures what you’ve written or sketched. (See video for details)
The whole event was really fun, we get to meet new people, learn something and try out the latest from Wacom and even had the chance to win some of Wacom’s products. Raf almost, ALMOST got the Intuos 5 but the battle was really tough. Thanks to them, haters. LOL I kid. People are dying to get hold of that thing. It took a while for someone to win the major prize which is the Intuos 5 of course. But whether we won something or not, still we’re thankful that we got the chance to attend the launching. Mr. KC Leong of Wacom Singapore was such a joker and the event ended at almost 12mn, ‘twas suppose to last only until 10pm. Ohh I didn’t take photos of the event. Too shhyyy :))

For the past few days, I sat still thinking about things. Things that may make or break the future, my future. But God always has plans for everyone, now He gave me my chance. As the saying goes, “with great power comes great responsibilities” I am given this opportunity knowing I can handle this, I can do this and the people behind this “chance” has their complete trust in me and I should never fail them.
Last night as I went home, my cousins asked me to go with them and we visited “someplace” to discuss and plan “something”. (Thus my book is still untouched) From my post yesterday, I hoped for a productive day today. Yes, I am at least being productive by planning things on my own for our next venture. Hopefully this will push through and be a success. From then on, it is a challenge for me to do the best I can.

Today I’m wearing a comfy oversized shirt dress paired with a black leggings and as I entered the campus at 6:50am with a positive vibe to start the day right, the lady guard at the portal called my attention and said, “What are you wearing? Is that a leggings?” Ofcourse I said yes. Then she started talking about violation and shiz. I was like, WHAT?! Wore leggings at school for a couple of times already and your telling me it isn’t allowed? I got pissed. I even asked her, what’s with leggings anyway? But she can’t answer. She just said, it’s stated in the handbook that it ain’t allowed. But I saw some students who can enter the premises wearing leggings or jeggings whatev that is. She insisted to get my ID and file a violation form. Ofcourse I won’t give you my ID. LOL I went out, thought of a bright idea and then I was able to get in. WHEW that was close :))
Good thing that incident really didn’t ruin my day. Good vibes at class, though felt reeeally sleepy during mg first class. At 11am, went straight to my brother-in-law’s condo to have the pictures taken for ads. Here it is: Condo Unit For Sale/Rent (first half photos we’re from here) So basically, my lunch is the camera, phone and this four-seasons juice. *sigh* No wonder I’m sooo thin :(
LOL I kid, we went straight to Ayala to have our lunch at around 1:00pm. I felt like I ate like Adam Richman from Man Vs. Food. Had heaps of mojos, pizzas, spaghetti, fried chicken. Gaaah That was heaven. And now I’m full, satisfied. Thanks bro ;)
Hopefully later tonight I’ll continue reading this. Pending for days already :/ Aaand looking forward to a productive day tomorrow. Ciao! ♥
July 2, 2012 ~ I received a text message from someone asking if I’ll be available for a shoot. The moment I read the senders name, my heart was pumping really fast :)) literally LOL ‘coz I know, there’s “something” in store for me or whatev. So I said YES!
July 3, 2012 ~ Tadaaah! I covered for a local newspapers’ write-up about Guinot (pronounced as Guinoh) A French company/brand. Just check the link for details. I didn’t even care if I’ll be absent at work for half a day since the experience and exposure was really worth it. I get to know new people, from therapists to managers, I was able to listen and learn something from the lecture and demo plus I get a gift from Guinot. YAY! Happy ;)
