Jan. 29, 2012 IN PHOTOS ~ Celebrated my little nephew’s christening and my elder brother’s birthday.

Welcome to the Christian world Jan Tristan!

My big bro’s wide smile as he welcomes another year of roller-coaster-ride.

Jan Tristan, Mariel Elyza & Jazzlyn Kaye. //Don’t know how to carry a baby :/

Lake Danao Natural Park (after the party). Big bro’s photo.

On our way home. After my nephew got his fingers stuck in the car door. //Thank God nothing serious happened though.
I considered yesterday, one of the happiest I spent with my family to date :) I just can’t express that much now since I have heaps of things in my mind right now and I was suppose to blog this in detail. NVM, I’m not in the mood already, thus the lame post. :// I promise I’ll do my best to write better next time. :// I feel awful today. Zzzz

Yes, eat when your stressed-out. In that way…mabusog ka? LOL seriously, amung wallet sad na stress ani but it’s pretty worth it since the food is DELISH!
01.25.12 ~ woke up early to have my speech printed but as I arrived at school, there was no class. LIKE WHAT?? I-wokemnjdnurgfjvsd! <— that was my initial reaction, but anyway no class means more time for work so I left and dropped by at J Center which I thought was already open as I saw the entrance it has a sign that says “OPEN 10AM” whaaaat? I just ate at Maccas (McDonald’s) since I was suppose to buy some food at the grocery. Left for work around 9ish, routine blah blah, work with our Theoretical blah for my last class which is 6:30, back to work, code design blah, school, midterm exam and finally FOOD! Real food afterwards with a good friend at the Fudge. It was pricey but pretty worth it ;) Also, I was relaxed after the “stress” I’m talking about which isn’t that clear. LOL That’s it for 25/366, spent heaps of cash instead of saving for school o.O I suck really! Plus the photo suck too. :)) //phone camera
HOHOHO went home, in Ormoc, last weekend. Ditched my 6:30pm class //sshh :))
Arrived 7:00 just in time for my sister’s birthday celebration.

Photobooth session with the kids I soo miss. I just couldn’t get enough of them kids >.<
//no photo with the celebrator though :))
Saturday~ Playedwith the kids and bought them ice-cream ;)) everybody’s fave
And slept the whole afternoon. Yes, I always sleeeeep when I’m at home ~ thankful that I get enough rest though :))

Sunday~ FAMILY DAY! ;) (oh I love Sundays back at home)
We’re able to spend it at a mountain resort in the next town. It was the best outing so far. But I always wanted a white-sand-beach or an island hopping but they wouldn’t agree to that idea since we have little ones, a baby and a preggy sister-in-law :/
Monday~ Chinese New Year
Movie-marathon, sleep, eat and eat and back to Cebu late evening.
That’s it for my weekend. Looking forward to this weekend since I’m going home again :D for my little nephew’s christening and brother’s birthday celeb.
It’s the time of the year when people gather to honor the Sto. Niño or the child Jesus. It is said to be the grandest and most colorful festival in the Philippines.

- Fluvial Parade
![]()
Didn’t bring any camera since I know I don’t have a good view. True! People were early birds. But at least I was able to witness the parade.
- Sinulog Street Vibration

Yes, that’s me! ;) VAMA Motors joined the event and so am I, I was the photo/videographer. I think it wasn’t as successful as last years since they scheduled the event late afternoon in which there was another parade going on so we didn’t push through to the original route. But at least, the organizers managed to find an alternative. Heavy dinner at the showroom after! ;)

Family and I attended the mañanita mass at the Basilica Menore Del Santo Niño, but weren’t able to get inside the church. The place was jam-packed! Thankful still, since we were able to hear the mass in honor of the child Jesus :)
As far as I can remember, had breakfast at Maccas (McDonald’s), went home, slept the whoooole morning o.O Lunch at uncle’s place, went home, street party laaate afternoon. Thus this dirty haggard faces below :p

‘twas the best Sinulog ;) so far! :D heeee
NOT! Yesterday, I was asked by my sister to meet-up with someone to get her ordered item at Starbucks after class (thus I wasn’t able to work). First stop was Ayala, dropped my films at a photolab to have it processed, lunch alone at maccas, went to a bookstore (was planning on buying a planner instead) and SM for the meet-up. Since we already have a hint about it as bogus (the meet-up) I just waited at a bookstore since I love roaming around checking books even though I don’t have any intention of buying nor reading it (but I want toooo, I’m just sooo lazy) :)) I just stayed there, messaged and even called the seller but no answer so I waited and waited until I bumped into a good old friend of mine. I really didn’t notice him since I was looking for this book that interests me the most as I was reading the title and the first few pages of it when I was at Ayala bookstore. He didn’t notice me too at first then held my head, (seriously, my head since he’s way taller than me :D ) when I looked around, I was like “whoa, hey, blah blah random convo”. He was looking for a gift for someone, a gift that is something unusual to give, something funny as he described it. So I helped him find one, we found something and his turn to help me find the book I’m looking for.

Yes found it! And bought it :D The first novel I bought (I read self-help books such as “Purpose Driven Life” etc. than story books), since I’m challenging myself to read read and read :) What interests me most is the way the author writes, the weirdness of it and all, he’s just eccentric!

- WARNING: DO NOT READ BEYOND THIS PAGE
Get my point? HAHA Plus its pretty cheap since I used my “National Card” e-purse to buy this :D heeee This better be worth it!
3:00, off to Sbux, the seller can’t be reached anymore as I called her number, my sister checked her site and it’s gone. Bogus it is. My sister then posted this: BOGUS: CONFIRMED <—- read on and you’ll know ;)
So I left, back to my daily routine. Work at the showroom, closed early to celebrate my nephew’s birthday and started reading the book I just bought :)

- Received a call: sad news, really sad :(( Poi was confined at the hospital due to dengue fever, good thing he’s a bit ok now. A little more rest and he’s up :) (
Felt really helpless knowing he’s confined while I’m celebrating the holidays but I constantly called him and prayed for his fast recovery)
That’s how I spent my last few days of the year 2011, hope Poi can join us next time :)
